Political Anything to do with government.
Economic Anything to do with trade.
Social Anything to do with people and society.
Cultural Diffusion When a society's culture mixes with another culture.
Geographic Determinism When a civilization or a societies success or failure is determined by geographic factors.
Eurocentric From the European perspective or point of view.
Archaeology The study of civilizations or societies from artifacts.
Sociology The study of societies and people.
Economics The study of the means of production of goods and services.
Anthropology The study of humankind.
Philosophy The study of social problems.
Primary Source An account of an event in which a person is a witness and written, spoken, heard, or seen, at the time of the event.
Secondary Source An account of an event which is written down much later by someone who did not witness the event.
