Aim: How do you incorporate all of the pieces of a comparative essay for a score of 9?
Do Now:
- Re-Form your groups
- Someone needs to read your thesis aloud to the group

Essay Writing Workshop
- Review your two(2) subtopics
- Write your body paragraphs based upon your thesis and evidence
- Use your Comparative Essay Rubric to make sure you have ALL of the pieces of your body paragraphs
- Write a conclusion
- Peer and Group edit your essay.
- Look at the additional two (2) points available for credit, do you have the required text to achieve those points?
Before you submit your Essay:
- Submit one (1) essay from your group. It must be handwritten, not typed.
- Make sure all you fill out the Essay Submission Form, and include it with your submitted essay.
- Your essay is due Thursday 10/18/12
