Procedure:

  1. Students will receive Jeremy Black's Chapter on Eurocentrism in "Re-thinking Military History"
  2. Students will be assigned groups
  • Day 1 - All students will work on the first part of the chapter and answer the first 5 questions.
  • Day 2 - Students will work with their groups and be assigned a particular section and answer the questions associated with the chapter. Students should also generate a list of questions regarding their chapter with evidence to back up their question from the chapter or their knowledge of history.
  • Day 3 - Student should be prepared to discuss their sections on Thursday.
